Barnton on a Cloud

Almondale Investmentshas let a unit on its parade of shops in the city's upmarket Barnton district. 

Sole trader, Julie Pearson, is to open a gift boutique, called Cloudberry Gifts, in the unit and has taken a ten-year lease at an annual rent of £12,850. 

Commenting on the deal, Almondale's Group Managing Director, Iain Mercer, said "Barnton is a popular residential area and has needed shop like this for some time.  We are sure the products on offer will be well received by the local community and shoppers from further afield."

Neither party was represented.
