Iain Mercer

Group Managing Director

Iain joined the Almondale Group in 2001 following a succesful spell as a new and sports broadcast journalist for various media outlets. He trained for 12 months at an Edinburgh based firm of surveyors before hooking up with his later father, Wallace Mercer, to develop Cosmopolitan Investments.

Iain is now the public face of the Group (he's the only one with a picture here!) overseeing all areas of the business.

Lesley Kidd

PA/Secretary to Group Managing Director

Lesley relationship with the Group goes back over 20 years when she was secretary to Wallace during his time at the Dunedin Property Group. She followed him when he went back into private property development.  Now she performs a similar role for Iain working from her office in West Lothian.

Anne Mercer

Group Finance Director

Anne has been working in property related businesses for over 30 years and has seen the Group of companies grow from their infancy.  She has gathered extensive experience in the financial control required in running a sizeable property company with over £30 million of assets. 

Primarily based in our East Lothian office, one of her many roles is keeping the bank, tax man and accountants happy!

Lisa McDermott

Head Office Administrator 

Lisa is a lady of many roles in Cosmopolitan's Head Office.  On a daily basis, she is dealing with credit control, property management and tenancy related matters. 

Lisa is a loyal and valued member of the team who has been with the company since 2003. The fact she supports Edinburgh's "wee team" is not held against her.....much!
